Ink to the People was founded to serve the people, hence our name! Since 2012, we have committed ourselves to helping our users reach their maximum fundraising potential. Our passionate and enthusiastic staff has your back and we’ll do as much as we can to help you succeed in your fundraising efforts.
Ink to the People as well as our sister company, Visual Impressions, are truly passionate about the planet we live on, so we did something about it. In 2013, we became certified as a sustainable printer and made significant investments into our recycling program and processes. We’ve also implemented an energy conservation program that has made a significant impact on our landfills. You can learn more about it here.
At Ink, we believe in the power of giving back to the community we reside in. Nestled just north of downtown Milwaukee, our team strives to serve our neighbors any way we can. For instance, every year we donate hundreds of t shirts to local homeless shelters so that our brothers and sisters stay warm as the cold season approaches. Also check out our nonprofit’s page to see the amazing, local organizations we’ve had the pleasure of working with, what we’ve done and how they have made the world a better place.
To further increase profits for our clients we do all of our printing work in-house. We never outsource or use outside sources for any part of our production. This enables us to guarantee the highest quality workmanship available, while passing on all of the savings to our users.
Two brother in-laws, Jay and Todd, founded an apparel printing company called Visual Impressions. As the duo grew this business into the 100,000 square foot factory it currently resides in, they noticed a pattern. A majority of their clients were organizations or individuals with intentions to buy batches of shirts for their fundraising efforts.
As they continued to fulfill more and more orders, they heard stories from users ordering too many or too few shirts and worst of all - losing much needed fundraising revenue.
In an effort to establish a platform that served as the solution - Jay and Todd actively sought out a way to allow their customers a simple, free to use, and more profitable fundraising outlet.
Jay and Todd spent two years building and developing the website but in early 2012, Ink to the People was born. Their purpose was simple: to launch a platform that makes it free and easy for anyone to raise money online with custom, high quality apparel.
Ink to the People has done exactly that. We have dedicated ourselves to serving the people by helping thousands of individuals and organizations raise more than $2,000,000 for causes and charities of special significance to them.
Over the years, we have maintained that mindset and allowed your feedback to drive our improvements. With Ink to the People, there’s no limit to your fundraising potential. Our passionate and enthusiastic staff has your back every step of the way. We are humbled everyday by the success of our clients and are proud to have the opportunity to work on your behalf as you strive to make the world a better place.
